The Vault
Vaulting is where an athlete runs up to an obstacle called the ‘horse’ or vault table and then has to jump off a spring board and perform some sort jump to get over the obstacle. You are watched by judges who then give you a score out of ten from each judge and then give you an overall score

World Standings
In Gymnastics athletes are judged on places in different competitions and events and when they perform well can go up in the rankings but when they perform badly they can go down in the rankings, this determines the best gymnasts.
